I loved these books, I just wish that I had read Athena's Oracles 1st because it would of been a smooth transition into Dark Heirloom. Other than that these books were amazing, full of action, twists, turns, love heartbreak and once you start reading it is so hard to put the books down...

This is a must read for any fantasy/paranormal reader! Well written creative urban fantasy with intriguing characters and a well-developed plot that will grab you from the first chapter and take you on an amazing journey. Ema and Jesu's story will have you feeling every emotion. Athena’s Oracle is free in this box set and what a great bonus. You will love this book as much as the Ema Marx series!
This is a great set. In book one, the series starts off running as Ema flees from the one who will turn out being her host at an ancient castle in Finland. A castle of Vampyers. And she just can't graspthe fact that she's now one of them. Jalmari, Prince of the Neo-Draugrian clan, has his orders to keep Ema alive. His gut tells him she's going to be trouble.
By the end of book three, JD Brown put me through a rollercoaster of a ride! Ancient evil, desire, love, and suspense... it's all there. I recommend this series to all Urban Fantasy lovers.
This series is absolutely wonderful. Ema is such a great main character. She goes through so much in this series, but still stays strong. Yes, she has faults. Yes, she makes mistakes. But this makes her even more believable. In each of the books, there is something different happening that affects Ema. But she learns and grows from them.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys urban fantasy, you will not be disappointed!
I am a huge fan of books with vampires. Lately though the stories have been stale. Then I found J.D. Brown's Ema Marx series and she breathed fresh life in to the genre for me again. Instantly I was addicted to the story and obsessed with the characters. Ema is not average female lead, but that's what makes the story more enjoyable for me. I love that there is a boxset of the first three books. If you have not read this series yet, what are you waiting for?! You will not be disappointed!
Fantastic series that puts a unique and twist on the vampire mythology. It follows Ema Marx as she's thrown into a frightening and amazing world she didn't know exists. She also finds out she's not quite as human as she thought she was.
Whether I loved them or hated them the characters got better and better.
And the farther into the story I got the more exciting the plot became until I was jumping at the chance to read the next book.
If you like vampires and are looking for something new to sink your teeth into I would highly recommend The Ema Marx Series.
Live these books a great series can't wait for the next book.
